Poetry
Every person looks at poetry a different way. Some people look at it as just alot of words. some might see it as telling a story. and some look at it as a piece of art. for me, im one of those people that fall into each category. it depends on what the poem is about, what kind of poem it is, and if i can understand it. because if i simply cannot understand it or follow along with it then how am i going to want to actually read it... exactly im not.

writer progress
I have never found myself to be what you call a "good writer". in my mind i think i am writing a really good essay, or summary. but when i get an evaluation back from my teacher it's just red marks and red lines and corrections everywhere! BUT, i feel like you can be a good writer, if it's something interesting to you, or if it's something about your life. i feel as if i am better at writing an essay if i am given the topic and the guidelines for the material. if i am just given a person, and how many pages it has to be... i will be stuck on it forever and ever. i look back at my previous writings from highschool and i will admit i have gotten a little better, maybe it just takes time.. and for some of us it takes a little longer than others!

The Circus. Outside Event 1
The circus was such an amazing thing to go to! they say it is made for children or families but i went just me and my boyfriend and i had the time of my life. The circus is different every time i go to it. i hadn't been in a couple years and it came to Richmond again, so i thought why not.. lets go again! When we got there it was so much going on outside i was already getting excited. but i couldn't let my boyfriend see that of course. because then he would laugh at me. i couldnt stop looking at everything and i was just memorized. i felt like a little kid again, and i wasnt ready to give up on that feeling. the entire night i was so into the show i hardly paid attention to him, but i mean come on.. we were 2nd row.. how could i not be excited. it was a show i will never forget because i still have so many pictures and videos on my computer. you're never too old to go to the circus thats for sure.

customer isn't always right.
when working at a grocery store you come across all kinds of people. no two people are the same. no two people are going to give you the same respect or the same responses. i have only been working in a grocery store for about 3 months and i have learned that whoever came up with the oh so clever saying that "the customer is always right" was without a doubt completely wrong. in this day in time the customers are so rude and hateful that they seem to take it to their full advantage. a customer can be rude and yell and cause(100) a scene and it's perfectly okay. but the person who is at their job, the "employee" has to sit there and take the rudeness because if they say one thing wrong that the person doesn't like, then they can or will lose their job. how does the saying "the customer is always right" even seem correct in this world? the customer is not always right and half the time i find that the customer is usually the one who is wrong in the situation. a customer needs to understand that the other person who is behind the counter, the register, or behind the window is a human too. they have a life just like you do. they more than likely do not want to be at work but they have to do it to support their self, maybe a family, keep a roof over their head and even provide food. so give them a little more respect and make their day coming to work a little more enjoyable and maybe you will get it in return one day.
