customer isn't always right.

when working at a grocery store you come across all kinds of people. no two people are the same. no two people are going to give you the same respect or the same responses. i have only been working in a grocery store for about 3 months and i have learned that whoever came up with the oh so clever saying that "the customer is always right" was without a doubt completely wrong. in this day in time the customers are so rude and hateful that they seem to take it to their full advantage. a customer can be rude and yell and cause(100) a scene and it's perfectly okay. but the person who is at their job, the "employee" has to sit there and take the rudeness because if they say one thing wrong that the person doesn't like, then they can or will lose their job. how does the saying "the customer is always right" even seem correct in this world? the customer is not always right and half the time i find that the customer is usually the one who is wrong in the situation. a customer needs to understand that the other person who is behind the counter, the register, or behind the window is a human too. they have a life just like you do. they more than likely do not want to be at work but they have to do it to support their self, maybe a family, keep a roof over their head and even provide food. so give them a little more respect and make their day coming to work a little more enjoyable and maybe you will get it in return one day.
